Important Notes

  • This summer, participants who register before May 24th will be eligible for a weekly drawing to win an iPod Nano! There will be a drawing at noon every Friday. Register early—for your chance to win!
  • All classes meet Monday through Friday except week one in which classes meet from Tuesday July 6th through SATURDAY, July 10. All one-week classes meet one evening as specified.
  • Topics courses may be repeated for credit with different content for a maximum of 6 credits.
  • The maximum number of credits that may be earned toward a degree at CCSU during one five-week term is eight. There is no limit on the number of credits one may take independent of a degree program.
  • Some courses may require the purchase of texts or other materials. Requirements will be announced on the website or on the first day of classes.
  • All classes will meet in Welte Hall. Specific room numbers will be posted at the entrance of Welte Hall and outside the SMI office (Welte, Room 209).
  • Please park in student parking lots, especially the student lot behind the Student Center, including the parking garage. Those staying in the dorm may park in the dorm lots.
  • Before coming to CCSU, please consult the website www.music.ccsu.edu, for posted announcements, course materials, and other information as it comes in from instructors.
  • It is strongly recommended that you register one month before for each course you are taking. Cancellation decisions for professors will be made two weeks before the class begins. The University reserves the right to cancel any course due to low enrollment. Also, class sizes are limited, so register early!
